BS Lesson Three ~All Years~

Ares stood at the front of the class with his hands clenched behind his back. He was wearing his British General army uniform in preparation for todays class. All desks had been removed and the floor had been replaced with grass. The perfect ground for a war.

Lora entered the class and offered a small smile to the Professor. She couldn't help but look forward to the lesson as she observed the arrangement.

Paloma raised an eyebrow as soon as she walked in the class and noticed the grass. She was a bit apprehensive for Battle Strategies, but it was a class worth taking, especially these days. It was sure to be . . . interesting.

She looked at the Professor and nodded, standing next to Lora.

Selena entered the class with her neutral mood. One side of hers would be the grumpy one for getting somewhat ignored at for being the captain during the previous lesson. And the other would be something that can be considered as an excited one. To see what will they overcome. And to look forward to the new captain of the day. She had to admit. She did expect that no one will follow her orders for being a first year. Well, maybe in her case.

The Hitrost walked over to stand on the line that had already been made after giving the professor a quick salute as her sign of respect.

Coming into a classroom that had grass instead of the stone floor had the teenager raise his brow. No desks meant that they'd more or less be having a practical lesson, or so Ren assumed. He'd taken the class not because he believed he'd be leading anyone, but so he could figure out the enemy even more. The teen liked to know how things worked and to put his knowledge to use. That and if someone was trying to give him an idiotic order, he wanted to be able to tell the person they were an idiot.

Crossing his arms, as he stood somewhere towards the back of the class, he tried not to yawn. Letting his gaze roam over his fellow students he noticed he was the fourth to arrive and the only male so far apart from their professor.

William walked casually into his first battle strategies class, he noticed the grass but was drawn into a sense of professionalism when he saw the professor. He didnt know what to expect and so lined up with the other girls. He looked at the professor and said in a strong voice "William krux, first year hitrost"

Ares had been still whilst all the students had arrived and it wasn't until the last arrived that he moved. His head turned to the last boy to arrive. "And? What do you want a medal for having a name and house? In this classroom, you are nothing but a number. You will earn your name! Just as you will earn my respect." He said slowly scanning the faces to make sure they all knew he was talking to them as well.

"You! And You!" He said pointing to Alora and Ren. "You two are todays captains. Step forward." He said gesturing for them to stand either side of him. "Today we will be demonstrating the average war. Pick your team mates wisely. They will be the difference between, winning and losing, life and death."

Roman sprinted down the hallway. This was the last class he wanted to be late to. He stumbled on an old quill lying on the floor, scraping his hands on the rough stone. Roman shot up and turned the corner, running through the door. He tried to join the other students as quietly as possible.

Ksenia walked briskly towards the Battle Strategies class. A small frown appeared on her forehead for a second as she saw the professor already starting the lesson as she came. She didn't think she was late. This one the one class she couldn't be late for. She cursed Abraxas in her head once again for distracting her from her priorities before coming to stand in the line. "Master," she greeted him politely with a small nod of her head.

Lena raised her eyebrows when she entered the class. She stood next to Lora, who had just been nominated as a captain. She smirked towards Ksenia to see who would be picked first. Well, if Lena was picked last... well, she would kill herself. Or make the other team regret not picking her.

To say that she was shocked, would be an understatement. She as captain? That didn't sound right at all! But she knew that she couldn't disobey.

She stepped forward and hoping that nervousness was not evident, she said in a firm. "My first pick is Lena." It was her choice because she knew Lena well enough to be aware of her strengths.

William didn't flinch or wince, he merely nodded at the teacher sayinng in a strong voice
"Yes, sir, understood" he watched the Captains step forward, he crossed his fingers secretly behind his back... After a few seconds he uncrossed them, how stupid was he?

He merely stood, watching each person, ignoring the two girls he had encountered before.

Ksenia rolled her eyes at William, her distaste for the younger foolish boy growing even more. She still couldn't believe what he did in the great hall. She shook her head slightly, looking ahead as she waited to be picked for a team.

Selena straightened up from her standing position once the master have spoke. She rolled her eyes around, gazing at the faces of the newly-elected captains and their chosen members. Now, she only had to wait for her chance. Although what group she was put in wouldn't even matter at all.

Ren startled a little bit as he was chosen as captain and nodded to the girl he was temporarily sharing a title with. His eyes looked at the other students as he stepped forward and the girl chose first. Wasn't this fantastic? He wasn't a people person so didn't really know his fellow students. That was now going to be a weak point that might be his undoing for this lesson. Eyes landing on the first year Hitrost boy he wondered for a brief moment if choosing him would be a good idea.

William seemed eager enough but sometimes that wasn't a good combination. Sighing, since he hadn't a clue about the others, Ren pointed at him. It was a fifty-fifty shot with everyone so might as well. "Krux."

Paloma let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding, glad the professor hadn't picked her as leader. She did not want to make a fool out of herself, not in this class, and leading wasn't one of her best qualities. Not that she wasn't a good leader, she just didn't like it.

She couldn't care less about what team she'd be in, so she just waited.

He glanced at his watch. "You are all late! The lesson begins in exactly one minute, in future be here at least 5 minutes before like the rest."

He put a hand out stopping Krux from going to Rens team. "Did you just call me Sir boy? Sir?! Tell me Mr Krux, do you see this? These symbolise ranks of power. I did not spend 20 years of my life being the best at what i do just for you to down rank me back down to Sir!" He said. "You will address me as General or not address me at all. Back in line! Mr Mitani, i suggest you pick someone who is more capable of listening and doing his research if you want to win. But what do i know i was just down ranked by a kid who obviously doesn't think i am worthy of my correct title."

A bit of irritation rose up in Ren and he almost let out a sigh. Why did this this professor remind him of a professor that he'd had before? Resisting the urge to pinch the brow of his nose his gaze went around the class again. Again he'd be getting a fifty-fifty chance and decided to choose someone who'd he'd seen in his own common room. Pointing to they younger Uchitel student he thought her name was, "Poots."

William was slightly shocked he listened tentatively and nodded
"I apologies," he stepped back in line slightly ashamed, and quickly said to the captain
"Thank you for choosing me, but General is right" he waited to be chose again, obviously not first.

HE could deal with it, not the greatest way for your first lesson he thought to himself.

Lora looked at the other captain and the General and wondered if it was her turn to make the next pick. Nevertheless, she decided to pick out the next member. "My next choice is Selena." She said.

Tre walked into the classroom, his eyes widened as he realized that he was late. "My apologizes..." He paused, his eyes taking in the man who was obviously in charge. "General..." He stepped into the classroom and slipped to the side, staying along the wall and waiting to be picked. He'd taken this class in America, so he knew how it worked.

His last professor, however, had been a Corporal, not a General, but he knew that before stepping into the classroom that he'd need to know something. His last professor had been extremely touchy about it.

Paloma frowned slightly when the professor started scolding Krux, but stepped forward when Her name was called. She wasn't expecting to be chosen so early, but alright. At least now she didn't have to wonder what team she'd be in and could start seeing if she remembered any weaknesses from members of the other team.

Lena smirked when she was picked first by Lora. She walked towards the other girl with an air of grace surrounding her. She took a glance at Ksenia that said, 'I told you so,' and 'I'm a million times better than you.' She nodded at Selena, who was chosen after her, and she stood up straight and tall behind Lora.

Selena shrugged her shoulders, sort of thankful that she was finally chosen, and walked with confidence to her position beside their team captain. She gave a quick nod at the Uchitel girl and waited for further instructions.

Ksenia rolled her eyes and held back laughter as Lena gave her that look. "Having many friends does no make you the best , Lena," she whispered to the girl as she walked past her, her tone almost gleeful.
